Job Description
The Role
Peninsula Grammar School is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate Kindergarten Teacher to join our Early Learning Centre. We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing teacher to become part of our professional and supportive community within our beautiful campus setting. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering a high-quality kindergarten program that supports children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
This role will support our 4-year-old Kindergarten program and is a full-time, ongoing position commencing in Term 1, 2027.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Planning and delivering engaging learning experiences in line relevant kindergarten frameworks and practices.
Creating a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment that encourages curiosity, confidence, and a love of learning.
Building positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Observing, documenting, and assessing children's learning and development.
Supporting children's social, emotional, physical, and cognitive growth.
Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement high-quality learning programs.
Contributing to a smooth and positive transition to school.
About You
A passion for early childhood education and supporting young children to thrive.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
An approved Early Childhood Teaching qualification and current VIT registration.
A sound understanding of the relevant quality/education frameworks, and contemporary early childhood practices.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
Commitment to child safety, wellbeing, and inclusion.
Previous experience in an independent school setting will be highly regarded.
