Job Description

The Role
Peninsula Grammar School is seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join our Science department. We are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic educator. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality science education to our students.

This is a 0.6 FTE maximum term position, commencing at the start of Term 4 for the remainder of the 2026 academic year, with the potential for the role to extend into 2027.

•    Teach Science across Years 7–10
•    Assess students and create tailored learning plans; use ongoing assessments to support learning
•    Plan and deliver engaging lessons; contribute to curriculum and resource development
•    Track progress, give feedback, and provide extra support; submit reports on time
•    Create an inclusive, supportive classroom; set high expectations for participation
•    Improve teaching methods using feedback and data; engage in professional development and teamwork

Desired Skills and Experience

All positions at Peninsula Grammar require:
•    Current VIT
•    First-Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
•    Child Safety training (Mandatory Reporting Certificate)
