The Role
We are seeking an exceptional ICT leader to guide the School’s technology function through a key period of operational delivery, project execution and digital transformation. This role leads the planning, delivery and management of the School’s ICT services and infrastructure, including audio visual and security, while driving major projects and transformation initiatives that improve teaching, learning and operations.
Key responsibilities include:
• Lead and manage the ICT team to deliver projects, programs, and strategic initiatives that advance the school’s objectives
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the ICT department, ensuring smooth functioning of systems and networks
• Develop, implement and monitor ICT policies, procedures, and best practices
• Lead end-to-end ICT project management and transformation initiatives, ensuring timely delivery, effective change implementation, and strong stakeholder engagement
• Collaborate with School departments (Teaching, learning and operations) to fulfil their needs to enable strong student learning outcomes
• Assess and monitor current technologies to maximise utilisation, benefit and value for users – staff, students and parents
• Identify, lead, and embed digital innovation opportunities that improve systems, work practices, and the user experience across the school
• Ensure compliance with data protection regulations, relevant state and federal legislation, cybersecurity standards, school regulatory and policy requirements
• Provide visible, decisive leadership to resolve ICT issues, build team capability, and drive a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence
• Participate in vendor management, contract negotiations, and procurement activities for ICT resources
• Maintain knowledge of ICT trends and developments to recommend solutions and initiatives to achieve best School practice

Desired Skills and Experience
About You
• Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams, with a leadership style that builds trust, accountability, and collaboration
• Demonstrated expertise in developing and implementing ICT strategies aligned with organisational objectives, including digital transformation priorities
• In-depth knowledge of network infrastructure, information management systems (i.e. Synergetic, SchoolBox, Consent2Go, Clipboard, Complispace) security systems, and database management
• Sound knowledge and experience with the Microsoft 365 enterprise suite and platform
• Strong understanding of educational technology tools and their integration into the curriculum
• Strong project management capability, including planning, budgeting, prioritisation, resource allocation, and delivery of complex change initiatives
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate with staff, students, parents and external stakeholders
• Relevant formal qualifications in IT or related field
• Familiarity with compliance standards and data protection regulations applicable to educational institutions
• A genuine passion for digital innovation, with the ability to identify emerging technologies and translate them into practical improvements for the school

• A valid Working with Children Check & Police Check (or willingness to apply)
• First-Aid qualifications (HLTAID009 CPR Course, HLTAID011 – Provide First Aid & ASCIA anaphylaxis)
• Child Safety training (provided by the school upon commencement)
