Job Description
The Role
Peninsula Grammar is seeking an experienced English Teacher to join our dynamic team. As a valued member of the English department, you will inspire a love of literature and language, deliver engaging lessons, and support students’ academic growth across a range of year levels. You’ll also collaborate with colleagues and contribute to the broader school community.
There are two part-time leave cover positions available, with the possibility of ongoing employment:
0.6 FTE – Term 3: Year 7 & 8 English
0.6 FTE – Terms 3 & 4: Year 10 & 11 English (or Year 8 & 9 English and Year 8 Humanities)
About You
You will:
Have excellent communication skills
Have VCE experience, and a willingness to teach across the VCE years (a minimum requirement for the Year 10 & 11 opportunity)
Demonstrate a genuine passion for literature and language
Be committed to supporting students’ intellectual growth
Be collaborative and dedicated to creating an inclusive learning environment

Desired Skills and Experience
All positions at Peninsula Grammar require:
Current VIT
First-Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
Child Safety training (Mandatory Reporting Certificate)
