The Role
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Casual Facilities Team Member to support the day-to-day upkeep of our school grounds and buildings. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in maintaining safe, clean, and well-presented environments for students, staff, and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Assisting with general grounds maintenance including mowing, trimming, and garden care
- Carrying out basic repairs and maintenance tasks across school facilities
- Supporting set-up and pack-down for school events and activities
- Monitoring and reporting maintenance issues or safety hazards
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming campus environment
About You
- Practical, hands-on approach with good problem-solving skills
- Ability to use basic hand tools
- Experience in groundskeeping, maintenance, or facilities support (desirable)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Reliability and flexibility to work casual hours as required
- Hold a current and valid driver’s licence

All positions at Peninsula Grammar require:
- Current Working with Children Check & Police Check (or willingness to apply)
- First Aid, Asthma & Anaphylaxis Management, CPR Training - Current or willing to complete
- Mandatory Child Safety training – provided by the school upon commencement
