Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a reliable and organised Assessment Coordinator to supervise the assessments for students with special provisions at Peninsula Grammar. The role will ensure the fair delivery of a variety of assessments and SACs for students in our senior school, and have responsibility for the relevant logistics, special provisions logs, and day to day operations of the special provisions room.
This is a part-time role, working 3 days per week (Monday, Wednesday & Thursday) during school terms only, 12 month maximum term contract commencing 23rd January 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
Under the leadership of the Director of VCE and Heads of Sub-School, oversee the school’s management of assessments for students with special provisions
Manage and supervise the provisions room to ensure assessments are conducted in a controlled, supportive, and compliant environment
Supervise and implement approved provisions for students during assessments (e.g., rest breaks, extra time, laptop use)
Maintain accurate records of student provisions and coordinate provision logs
Ensure compliance with VCAA policies and assist with Special Exam Arrangements paperwork
Print assessments for typing students and support the smooth collection and return of assessment materials
Communicate clearly with staff and students about assessment provisions
Work closely with the Director of VCE and administrative team

Strong organisational and administrative skills
Ability to handle confidential information professionally
Willingness to learn about VCAA special provisions
Ability to work collaboratively with teachers, students, and school leadership
