Job Description
The Role
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Teacher of Indonesian to join our team at Peninsula Grammar.
This is a part-time, maximum-term position for the duration of Term 4 to provide cover during a period of long service leave.
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging and effective Indonesian language lessons to students across different year levels
Creating engaging and interactive learning experiences that promote student participation and progression
Developing and implementing effective assessment methods to evaluate student performance and understanding
Supporting students' personal and academic development through mentorship and guidance
Collaborating with colleagues to share best practices, resources, and innovative teaching techniques

Desired Skills and Experience
About You
Proven experience in teaching Indonesian language and culture at a secondary level
Demonstrated ability to engage students with a lively, adaptive and effective learning
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Commitment to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students
Willingness to contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities or pastoral care responsibilities

Current VIT
First-Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis qualifications
Child Safety training (Mandatory Reporting Certificate)
